Merchandising guide — 50ml & 700ml
How to give AK a shelf that sells through, in retail, gifting and on-trade environments.
50ml — Traditional 60% and the 30% flavoured range
- A low-commitment way for a customer to try an unfamiliar category.
- Suits gifting bundles, hampers, add-on purchases at the till and visitor-attraction retail.
- Useful for controlled tasting activity where the retailer's licence and policies allow.
- Premium 45% is currently listed in 700ml only.
700ml — all three ranges
- The main shelf format, and the format most often bought as a gift.
- A wider flavour selection gives the fixture more to browse; the number of facings is the retailer's decision.
- Face labels forward and group by strength rather than by label colour.
Three fixtures that work
Independent retail shelf
Group by strength: Traditional and Premium together, the flavoured range beside them. A shelf card explaining what bimber is gives browsing customers the context the category needs.
Gifting counter
Miniatures within easy reach near the till, one 700ml behind as the reference bottle. Approved Great Taste wording can be used here.
Back bar
Two unflavoured bases plus a selection of flavours that your team can suggest a serve for. Keep the flavoured bottles visible to guests.
Point of sale
Printable shelf cards are available in the portal. They deliberately carry no prices, so you can set your own shelf price. Staff tastings and in-store sampling are supported where agreed, case by case.
